Section 1
V1 Room Use


1. Equipment**
V1 contains many instruments and a huge array of printed music. It is essential that all students know where these items are stored and how things are managed.
Instruments: All instruments and equipment will be stored in appropriate areas when not in use.
Music: Flip folders are to be stored in cases or cubbies.
Folders: Folders will be stored in folder cabinets or in student backpacks. Concert Band folders need to be stored in Concert Band Cabinet during school hours.
Music Stands need to be stacked at the end of each day.
Chairs need to be stacked every other day with the exception of the percussion section. Percussion members need to stack chairs every day.
Uniforms: Uniforms will be stored in uniform bags. On "Wash Weeks" spats and dickies will be turned in for laundry.
Food and Drinks: are not allowed during rehearsals!


**All instruments and music must be handled accordingly. Students who fail to follow procedures will be responsible for extra duties or will lose participation points.

2. Room Use
Students wishing to use V1 during lunch or after school must abide by the following:
¨ All items in Section 1 need to be observed.
¨ No spectators are allowed during practice sessions.
¨ Food and drinks during lunch are not a problem if disposed of properly.

Hours:
Open from 7:30 - 7:45 AM for instrument/music drop-off.
Open from 2:45- 3:30 PM for pick-up
